LOWELL SPINNERS, EMPLOYEE FEATURED ON MTV

Concessions hawker Kevin “Made” into triathlete on national TV

LOWELL, MA – The Lowell Spinners, Class A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, are featured in this week’s episode of MTV’s “Made” which is debuting this week.

The beginning of the episode takes place at LeLacheur Park before a Spinners game last summer. Fans at the game saw a helicopter land on the field and a Spinners employee, Kevin, run the bases for the cameras. Many Spinners employees, players and shots of the ballpark made the final cut.

The episode, titled “Triathlete,” tracks the Dracut native’s training to become an athlete and perform in a triathlon.

“It’s great to see Kevin taking a strong interest in sports, and we’re proud of his commitment,” said Lowell Spinners Vice President and General Manager, Tim Bawmann. “Maybe working at LeLacheur Park has helped motivate Kevin as he was made into a successful athlete.”

“Made” airs nationally on MTV on a daily basis and this episode will be aired at various times throughout the week.
