SPINNERS BOBBLE HEAD COLLECTION SOARS TO NEW HEIGHTS
Ted Williams Military Aviator Bobble Head Highlights 2008 Collection
LOWELL, MA – The Lowell Spinners, the Class-A Affiliate of the World Series Champion Boston Red Sox, have announced their 2008 bobble head line-up, highlighted by Red Sox and baseball legend Ted Williams and Red Sox 2007 World Series hero Jacoby Ellsbury.

Ellsbury, who began his professional career as a Spinner in 2005, will be honored on June 19 (Outback Steakhouse/Collins Dentistry for Children), following his meteoric rise to stardom culminating in his key role on the 2007 World Champion Red Sox.
Since the 2003 bobble head giveaway of Lowell-native and author Jack Kerouac ended up in Cooperstown at the Baseball Hall of Fame, bobble heads have become a staple in the Spinners annual promotional schedule.
“The Lowell Spinners are proud to honor such a wide range of legends in this season’s bobble head line-up,” said Lowell Spinners Vice President/General Manager Tim Bawmann. “While everyone recognizes the talent Ted Williams displayed on the field, few recognize the sacrifice he made and the valor he displayed in serving this country.
